Our suction mounts are rated up to 50lbs of pull strength. Plently strong enough for most applications.

Our suction mounts work very well on smooth clean surfaces. If your desired mounting area is not smooth, you can us our 3M adhesive discs to stick to any rough surface and then you will be able to suction to that disc.

The time limit varies depending on a few factors. For indoor applications with moderate temperature and ideal smooth surfaces (glass, gelcoat, sheet metal, plastic), suction should last several weeks without any loss of suction.

Over longer periods of time the pvc suction cup may stretch out so we recommend re applying after every use or as often as you can to maintain 100% suction power.

For outdoor use in hotter temperatures suction power time limit may be less which is why we recommend re applying after every use or as often as you can. That being said, we have had several products in direct sunlight in the south Florida heat for a couple years and only re apply them every 30 days or so.
